October 10, 2010 - Command Performance Benefit Concert: The Amazing Wilder Home, Grass Valley CA
NCCC presents Command Performance Benefit Concert featuring the best new works of 2010! Vance's In These Uncertain Times and The New Life (commissioned by Twin Cities Concert Association) for violin and piano 4 hands performed by violinist, Richard Altenbach and pianists, Aileen James and Ken Hardin. The concert will also feature composer Jerry Grant, several guest composers and outstanding student composer works from MIM's Young Composers Concert! call 478-0983 for info, reservations etc.

A FREE CONCERT sponsored in part by the California Arts Council. This Concert of NEW MUSIC will feature the collaboration of three community choirs: The Nevada Union High School Choir, The Music in the Mountains Festival Chorale and the Sierra Master Chorale joined by the CSUS Percussion Ensemble premiering a new setting of John Donne's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Vance, and works by Sydeman, Grant, Lauridsen, Shapiro and Davis (The Matrix) Cage, Westlake, Applebaum and more!
